WORSHIP TEAM STANDARD AGREEMENT
A. Attend and participate in rehearsal – scheduled every other Saturday 10 am to noon. You must attend practice in order to participate on your scheduled Sunday, unless you have discussed your circumstances with the worship leader.

B. Attend quarterly meeting. Watch your calendar and make it a priority.

C. Pursue spiritual excellence.
1. Faithfully worship inside and outside of the service setting. In order to lead worship, you must be a worshipper.
2. Be a leader at all times, by worshipping with your whole heart even when you are not on the platform.
3. Be supportive of the body of Christ by speaking positively of all Christians. Encourage one another.

D. Pursue individual excellence.
1. Practice at home. If we are to be a good steward of God’s gift, one hour a week is a minimum.
2. Keep your “instrument” in the best possible condition. Remember that our “instrument” belongs to God.
3. Come to practice prepared by tuning your instrument beforehand and having music pulled.
4. If you cannot play or sing on your scheduled day, please find a substitute for yourself and notify the worship leader of your arrangement.

E. Please follow the dress code. Remember that we are there to direct attention to Jesus.
1. Look your best. You may dress comfortably, but befitting a leader.
2. Do not wear jeans, sweats, or t-shirts please.
3. Please do not wear revealing clothing. (If you’re not sure, ask.)
4. Ladies, please wear a length of dress/skirt that will not draw people to look at you.

You will be asked to sign and date a version of this agreement in person, and a copy will be made and kept by the worship leader.

Please understand that fulfilling the agreement and apprenticeship does not guarantee a spot on the team. Issues of discipleship, Christian maturity, skill level, people skills, openings, and fit are examples of reasons your application may be waitlisted.
